Scope of the project is to develop the processes and recommend the used method (tools) for Collaborative Services for Development (CSfD). As a blueprint for this project the MKS based system of Daimler will be used.

A generalization in the following dimensions is planned towards a standard suitable for all levels of the supply chain:

• CSfD Processes
• CSfD Protocol & Messages
• CSfD Toolkit: how to implement (Enterprise Setup)
• CSfD Proof of Concept: Blue Print Pilot will be setup in Daimler MKS environment

The proposed recommendation of CSfD should be accepted by the Automotive Industry as a VDA recommendation. As a subsequent acceptance process of the VDA recommendation for CSfD on a European and global level should always be in the focus.
